Lisa D. Johnson has been appointed Vice President of Sales and Anthony Lopez was named to the newly created post of Director of Product Management. In making the announcements, Hutton said, “the addition of these two seasoned executives will enable us to accelerate our aggressive growth strategy that has been strengthened by our recently developed break-through Edge software and its integration with new hardware devices that enhance both security and the guest experience for retail outlets, entertainment venues, and other public spaces.”

Johnson previously was Business Development Head of Sports & Entertainment in the Advanced Recognition Division of NEC Corporation of America in Rancho Cordova, Calif. Concurrently, she worked for Los Angeles-based FANSail Consulting, developing strategies for two start-up firms. For 12 years she was with the Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club, rising to Director of Ticket Sales Operations & Engagement. Johnson has also held sales executive positions with Chivas USA, Los Angeles Dodgers, Long Beach Ice Dogs and the Seattle Mariners.

Lopez has some 18 years of experience as an operations executive and IT professional in the Media/Entertainment industry. In 2010, he joined Legends3D, in Carlsbad, Calif., as Director of IT and over the next seven years rose to be COO/CIO. A resident of San Marcos, Calif., Lopez was nominated by San Diego Business Journal as a finalist for “Information Technology Executive of the Year” and San Diego Magazine for “Top Tech Exec.”

Jay Hutton, VSBLTY Chief Executive Officer, says the firm’s Edge computing enables all its computer vision services to eliminate the need to send information to the cloud via the internet or a network, bringing all the processing and the complexities of machine learning down to the level of an on-site computer. “This means that we process data quicker on the Edge, with incredible scale and with greater precision—and it is more cost efficient,” Hutton adds.

VSBLTY utilizes Intel’s OpenVINO™ platform as a tool kit to run VSBLTY’s machine learning algorithms on the edge, says Chief Technology Officer Tim Huckaby. “Intel’s OpenVINO system allows us to hot swap in machine learning models without reprogramming. VSBLTY announces two international partnerships, will feature two products at ISE

PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 5, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — VSBLTY, a leading retail software and technology company that provides audience measurement using the power of machine learning through computer vision, today announced the creation of two international partnerships with Atlas International, headquartered in Milan, Italy, and Onyx-Cognivas Pty, based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The announcement was made by VSBLTY CEO Jay Hutton, who also said the firm would be demonstrating two unique products at the ISE Show, scheduled for February 5-8, in Booth 8-S360. Amsterdam will host the 2019 ISE that is expected to draw 80,000 AV and systems integration professionals.

Hutton said VSBLTY will unveil an elevator video wall— Gateway “magic mirror” by LU-VE Group—designed for hotels, office and residential buildings that will transmit photos, videos and advertising as well as building information and announcements. Touch screen technology also enables elevator passengers to communicate to the outside via the web. In the event of an emergency, the elevator cabin immediately will be in audio/visual communication with an emergency specialist to calm and inform passengers.

The second VSBLTY product demonstrated will be a retail cabinet with shelves that features interactive video screens to engage and inform customers. Hutton said the unit is ideal for promoting products. Video on various size screens demonstrates product uses and benefits in addition to helping to educate customers, relieving the dependency on service staff. The unit also can feature in-store promotions.

Both of VSBLTY’s new partner companies will attend ISE, Hutton said. Atlas International is a full-service provider of innovative solutions specializing in business and technology integration across a wide range of channels. “With our expertise in digital signage, customer engagement, and artificial intelligence, Atlas is an ideal partner to help VSBLTY gain distribution in Italy and beyond,” according to the firm’s CEO Tommaso Boralevi.

Laurette Pitts named VSBLTY CFO

Laurette J. Pitts, an executive with more than two decades of finance and operations experience, has been named Chief Financial Officer of VSBLTY, it was announced today by CEO Jay Hutton. A leading retail software and technology company that provides audience measurement using the power of machine learning through computer vision, VSBLTY has also developed break-through software and analytics devices that enhance both security and the guest experience for casinos and entertainment venues.

In making the announcement, Hutton said. “We are pleased that Laurette Pitts is joining our leadership team because her strategic and corporate policy skills, as well as her casino experience, will significantly contribute to our ability to expand the scope of the company.”

Pitts has an extensive background in finance, including SEC reporting, as well as GAAP and FASB requirements. Prior to joining VSBLTY, she worked in the gaming and hospitality industry for 26 years. She held various senior level positions with both public and private companies.

A graduate of Stockton State College, she earned her MBA at Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, Minn.

VSBLTY, a leading retail software and technology company, is taking a major step to prove that the guest experience and security can both be enhanced at entertainment venues through ground-breaking software and analytics devices. A revolutionary multi-phased pilot program was recently introduced at Gun Lake Casino in Wayland, Mich.

According to VSBLTY Chief Executive Officer Jay Hutton, “The pilot integrates all aspects of our technology portfolio, using Proactive Digital Displays with our three software platforms, DataCaptor, VisionCaptor, and VSBLTY Vector.”

All VSBLTY software modules use advanced FacialAnalytics that gather identified audience measurement (age, gender, dwell time, and sentiment). This data analysis happens in real time, even in large crowds or in motion. “This software is designed to not only enhance the guest experience, but to create a virtual perimeter around the casino floor to analyze player behaviors, further gamify player engagement, all while augmenting security operations to make Gun Lake even safer,” said Hutton.

One breakthrough feature of  VSBLTY Vector is proprietary object recognition that identifies assault weapons and objects of interest that, if detected, can notify security. VSBLTY earned the award for the inline freezer door pilot program it implemented with Tyson Products in 10 Meijer grocery store locations in Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois.
